The Wesley House will be one of several group homes located throughout Maricopa County. They will be small, residential facilities located within the communities, including Goodyear, Buckeye, Apache Junction and Carefree. The Wesley House is designed as intergenerational homes that will include male children or adults with chronic disabilities. The Wesley House will have many different types of group homes for children, adults, and older adults with different needs. These homes will house six or fewer occupants and will be staffed 24 hours a day by trained caregivers. The Wesley House will be known to serve a small number of residents, unlike large residential treatment facilities. They will reside in a family-like setting with trained staff. Furthermore, a group home in a local community is what the government and universities term a "small group home". The Wesley House will always have trained personnel, and administration located inside and outside the home. Please note that the success of The Wesley House will often aim to better the health of their residents, both physically and emotionally. Checkups with physicians will be frequently available to residents. The Wesley House will often collaborate with outside organizations and companies to extend these health features to their residents.
